Chelsea vs Liverpool: Chelsea’s Predicted Lineup | FA Cup

Chelsea lock horns with Liverpool in the much-awaited finals of the FA Cup this coming weekend with both teams eyeing the coveted trophy.

Thomas Tuchel’s men last turned out in Premier League action midweek against Leeds United with the Blues posting a convincing 3-0 win.

Let us now have a look at how Thomas Tuchel might set up his Chelsea side against Liverpool –

3-4-2-1

Edouard Mendy is backed to start between the goalposts for the west London giants with Tuchel not expected to ring in big changes to his defensive lineup.

Antonio Rudiger should be joined by the likes of Thiago Silva and Andreas Christensen in the heart of the defence with Reece James and Marcos Alonso slotting in the wing-back roles.

In the centre of the park, injuries to N’Golo Kante and Mateo Kovacic are likely to sideline them with Ruben Loftus-Cheek tipped to provide cover for the injured duo alongside Jorginho.

Romelu Lukaku, on the back of his superb run of form as of late, is expected to lead the line for Chelsea with Kai Havertz and Mason Mount joining him in the attacking third.
