Chelsea are understood to be plotting a summer move for Real Madrid centre-back Eder Militao with Thomas Tuchel keen to bolster his defensive roster.
Tuchel has been on the hunt for reinforcements to add to his backline with the Chelsea manager resigned to losing both Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen at the end of the season.
Militao is the second name on the shopping list for Chelsea who has been a stellar performer in the La Liga besides France international Jules Kounde with the latter a top target at Stamford Bridge ahead of the forthcoming summer.
According to reports from the Spanish news outlet AS, it is claimed that Chelsea will look to table an offer for the Brazil international Militao with the 24-year-old key to Tuchel’s plans in the transfer market for the near future.
Militao has earned regular minutes on the pitch for Real Madrid this season with the departures of Sergio Ramos and Raphael Varane allowing the Brazilian to step up and cement a berth on the team sheet.
