West Ham United are reportedly keeping close tabs on Chelsea loanee Armando Broja who has been a hit signing for Southampton since his move to the club last summer.
The 20-year-old forward signed for The Saints ahead of the start of the 2021-22 campaign in a season-long loan deal with Chelsea keen for Broja to earn regular minutes on the pitch during his time away from the English capital.
A return to London, however, could be on the cards for the Albania international with David Moyes and West Ham United hoping to beat Southampton to the signature in the final days of the January transfer window.
According to reports from Football Insider, it is claimed that The Hammers in their hunt for attacking reinforcements could eye up a move for Broja should he choose to cut short his successful loan stint at St. Mary’s.
Broja has netted seven goals in 21 outings across all competitions with five of those coming in top flight football for Southampton who are credited with an interest in making the youngster’s stay permanent.
