Chelsea have reportedly zeroed in on Paris Saint-Germain full-back Layvin Kurzawa as their new target in the transfer market, according to claims from Sky Sports ( via The Daily Express).
A lengthy spell on the sidelines awaits Ben Chilwell following his ACL injury layoff and that has forced Tuchel to scout the market this winter window for reinforcements to provide cover on the left side of the defence.
Lucas Digne was rumoured to be a top name on the shopping list at Stamford Bridge but with the French wing-back making the move to Aston Villa last week, Chelsea will need to look at alternative names heading towards the business end of the campaign.
Tuchel’s former PSG first-team player Layvin Kurzawa has emerged on the Blues’ radar on the back of his limited playing opportunities at the Ligue 1 giants with Kurzawa behind the likes of Nuno Mendes and Juan Bernat in the pecking order.
Despite having penned extended terms recently with PSG that are due to expire in the summer of 2024, Kurzava is yet to feature this season and is tipped to be interested in a move away from the French capital.
