Borussia Dortmund are reportedly in line to offer Chelsea target Erling Haaland a huge salary increase to convince him to stay put beyond the next summer.
The Norweigan star striker remains a top name on the shopping list for some of the biggest clubs across Europe including Chelsea who were heavily linked with Haaland this summer in a potential mega-money move.
Thomas Tuchel has had his eye on the Dortmund talisman with the aim of adding to his attacking ranks in the English capital despite the German club sticking to their sizable asking price for the forward.
According to the German news outlet BILD ( via Goal journalist Ronan Murphy), it is claimed that a bumper pay package will be tabled in front of Haaland by Dortmund with the Bundesliga outfit keen to retain his services amid other clubs eyeing up his coveted signature.
Bayer Leverkusen’s Patrik Schick and Ajax’s Sebastien Haller are names lined up as replacements from the transfer market by Dortmund should they stand to lose their prized attacking asset in the summer of 2022.
