Chelsea make the travels to the Midlands over this weekend with Thomas Tuchel’s Blues taking on a high-flying Wolves side on the road.
The west Londoners were held to a stalemate on Thursday night against Everton who snatched a late leveller after Mason Mount had given his side the lead.
Here is how Tuchel is expected to set up his Blues starting eleven for the outing against Wolves –
3-4-2-1
Edouard Mendy will man the goalposts for the visitors to the Molineux with Thomas Tuchel expected to ring in changes to his defensive lineup.
Andreas Christensen could be in line to earn a recall back into the starting XI for the Blues with the 37-year-old Thiago Silva to make way.
In midfield, N’Golo Kante should be deemed fit to occupy the starting berth with Jorginho his partner as the wing-back options in Reece James and Marcos Alonso are expected to remain unchanged.
Up top on the pitch, Tuchel is unable to call upon either Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner with both strikers testing positive for COVID-19 forcing the Chelsea boss to draft Christian Pulisic in the central role.
