Chelsea defender Malang Sarr is reportedly nearing a loan move to Inter Milan with the player set for an exit from the Blues camp come January when the transfer window reopens.
The Frenchman had made the move to Stamford Bridge in the summer of 2020 on a free transfer following which Chelsea loaned him out on a season-long arrangement to FC Porto.
Sarr’s return to the Chelsea fold ahead of the 2021-22 campaign saw him featuring in the pre-season fixture list for Thomas Tuchel’s men but his outings since have been restricted to cup competitions.
According to reports from Sports Media Set, it is claimed that Serie A holders Inter Milan are in pole position to land the signature of the Chelsea first-teamer in the January window on a loan deal.
Thomas Tuchel’s defensive options in the Stamford Bridge ranks are well-stocked and the Blues boss could be convinced on yet another loan spell for Sarr who can earn regular minutes under his belt at San Siro.
