Chelsea are reportedly at risk of losing out on longstanding transfer target Erling Haaland who could be set to pen a new deal at Borussia Dortmund come January.
The Norway international star striker is long believed to be one of the top names on the shopping list for the Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel who is looking to add more firepower to his attacking ranks.
Efforts to land Haaland’s signature in the summer failed to go through for Chelsea with Dortmund remaining firm on the pricing front on parting ways with the 20-year-old.
According to reports from Spanish news outlet AS, it is claimed that Haaland will be poised to agree upon extended terms at Dortmund in January should the player choose to end his existing sponsorship deal with Nike and sign with Puma.
Dortmund could be given financial support from Puma, who are the kit suppliers for the Bundesliga giants, to tie down Haaland to a new deal and make him their highest-paid player.
