Hakim Ziyech demands Chelsea exit in January amid Dortmund interest

Hakim Ziyech demands Chelsea exit in January amid the speculation of Dortmund showing an interest in signing the Moroccon playmaker when the transfer window reopens.

The Bundesliga giants are rumoured to have the Chelsea underused first-team player on their radar ahead of the January window which opens in less than two months from now.

Ziyech, who made the move to Stamford Bridge last summer in a big-money deal from Ajax, failed to cement his berth on the team sheet for the Blues under the new boss Thomas Tuchel following the sacking of Frank Lampard.

With Tuchel on the hunt for a fresh face to bolster his attacking ranks come January, Ziyech is understood to be demanding a move elsewhere to ensure regular minutes out there on the pitch, according to reports from The Daily Express.

Dortmund are backed as the frontrunners to provide a much-needed escape route to the ex-Ajax star who has clocked less than 200 minutes of Premier League action in this campaign for Thomas Tuchel’s west Londoners.
