Chelsea could be forced to fork out £40 million for re-signing Tino Livramento who left Stamford Bridge this summer to sign for Southampton for a meagre £5 million fee.
The teenage full-back has got his life with the Saints off to a flying start and has earned rave reviews for his showings giving birth to talk of Chelsea eyeing up a swoop to bring Livramento back to the club.
According to reports from The Sun, Thomas Tuchel will enjoy the option of a buy-back clause for the 18-year-old Livramento but the Chelsea manager will be forced to bear a £35 million cost to do that.
Reece James is the current regular for the Blues in the right wing-back role and the England international looks set for a promising future at the club level despite his recent troubles on the injury front.
Livramento’s run of form, however, since his exit from the Bridge has made the youngster a name to watch out for with his former side Chelsea backed to keep tabs on his progress at the Saint Mary’s.
