Champions League holders Chelsea will be gearing up to face a heavyweight opposition in their second group stage outing with Juventus their hosts on Wednesday night.
Thomas Tuchel’s men were handed a first defeat of the new season this past weekend against Manchester City in league action and the Blues are backed to return to winning ways sooner rather than later to maintain their upbeat form of late.
A stern test awaits them, however, with Juventus, the midweek opponents in the Champions League, having recorded three wins in their last four games despite a slow start to the 21-22 campaign for the Italians.
Chelsea had defeated Zenit narrowly in their opening game of the new Champions League season while Juventus were more assertive in their showing against Swedish outfit Malmo as Massimiliano Allegri’s side sealed a 3-0 win.

TEAM NEWS
Reece James was withdrawn off the Stamford Bridge pitch last time around and the England international full-back looks to be made unavailable for the upcoming contest.
Thomas Tuchel had no fresh injury concerns following the defeat to Manchester City barring James but it remains to be seen whether Christian Pulisic will be back in the fray from his recent spell on the sidelines with an ankle issue.
MATCH PREDICTION
We expect an evenly-contested affair between the two teams who have been in great form in the recent past.
Juventus 1-1 Chelsea
