Romelu Lukaku makes his second Chelsea debut with the Belgian handed a start by Thomas Tuchel for Sunday’s showdown against Arsenal.
Lukaku is in line to make his first outing for the Blues since his return to Stamford Bridge in a big-money move from Inter Milan earlier this summer transfer window.
Chalobah drops down to the bench, James comes back in
The in-form Trevoh Chalobah drops down to the bench despite his great run of form which saw the 22-year-old find the back of the net in his debut outing last time around against Crystal Palace.
Returning to the Chelsea teamsheet is Reece James who starts in the right wing-back role with his compatriot Ben Chilwell still amongst the substitutes as Marcos Alonso retains his spot.
N’Golo Kante misses out, Lukaku makes his debut
Changes are on show for Chelsea up top on the pitch with Christian Pulisic sidelined due to a positive test for COVID-19 and Timo Werner being pipped to the striking role by new boy Romelu Lukaku.
Kai Havertz provides cover for Pulisic with the likes of Hakim Ziyech and Callum Hudson-Odoi on the bench to provide Tuchel with attacking options to bring on if required late on in the match.
