Tiemoué Bakayoko is nearing his departure from the Chelsea camp this summer with the France international midfielder on the verge of sealing a much-awaited transfer to AC Milan.
Fabrizio Romano has suggested that the 27-year-old Bakayoko will be soon heading out the exit door at Stamford Bridge to sign for the San Siro giants who have been credited with a strong interest in signing the Blues midfield man.
Bakayoko has been heavily linked with a move away from the Bridge over the course of this summer’s transfer window where he is not expected to secure a regular role on the teamsheet for Thomas Tuchel’s men.
AC Milan have been long considered the frontrunners ahead of local rivals Napoli in the race to land Bakayoko and with talks now underway between Milan and Chelsea, Bakayoko is in line to complete his move to Italy in a loan deal that will run until the next summer.
