Tammy Abraham is on his way out of Stamford Bridge with Chelsea accepting an offer from the England international’s long-term suitors in the market AS Roma.
Reports from The Goal claim that Thomas Tuchel’s camp have accepted a €40 million offer coming their way from the Serie A giants who want Abraham as their replacement for Edin Dzeko who has made the move to Inter Milna.
Chelsea had recently confirmed the signing of Romelu Lukaku in a big-money deal which gave birth to talk that the 23-year-old Abraham, who has been linked with a move away from the club this summer, will be nearing his exit very soon.
It is understood that Chelsea have a buy-back clause in Abraham’s sale to AS Roma with Abraham still in line to reach an agreement on personal terms with Jose Mourinho’s side.
Roma had overtaken other rival clubs in the race, including domestic rivals Atalanta and Premier League heavyweights Arsenal, to land the in-demand signature of Abraham from the Chelsea ranks in the ongoing transfer window.
