Thomas Tuchel has been heavily backed to bring in a forward in this summer’s transfer window after Chelsea’s mixed bag of fortunes in the final third of the pitch across the previous campaign despite the new signings of Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech.

The Italy international scored 17 goals in the Serie A for his side Sassuolo and clubs across Europe’s biggest leagues have amped up their interest in making a move for the winger whose value is claimed to be north of €40 million.
