Atletico Madrid willing to part ways with Chelsea target Saul Niguez

Saul Niguez has been a target for Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea side in this summer’s transfer window and the latest reports coming out of Spain suggest that the midfielder could be given the nod to exit Atletico Madrid.

Spanish news outlet AS claims that the La Liga holders who are in line to complete the signing of the highly-rated Udineese talent Rodrigo de Paul are willing to sanction the sale of the 26-year-old Saul.

The Blues could back themselves to land the Spanish international’s signature with Tuchel on the lookout for a new midfield name to add to his current options as he is set to lose Billy Gilmour for the upcoming campaign to Premier League new boys Norwich City.

Moreover, Chelsea are tipped to lose out on long-term target Jude Bellingham with the teenage sensation poised to extend his stay at Borussia Dortmund by two more years, meaning Tuchel will be forced to scout the transfer market for alternatives.

Saul’s success for both club and country makes him a perfect candidate for Chelsea’s summer plans should Atletico Madrid be keen to agree upon a reasonable offer for his transfer to the Premier League.
