Chelsea have shockingly identified Inter Milan’s Achraf Hakimi as a potential transfer target this summer and are claimed to have entered into talks with the player’s agent over a deal.
Thomas Tuchel has made it a priority to sign a new striker in the summer transfer window currently underway with Inter’s Romelu Lukaku and Dortmund talisman Erling Haaland the two names high on the shopping list for the Chelsea boss.
PSG are negotiating with Inter for Achraf Hakimi. Talks ongoing around €60m but Inter want €80m – Chelsea also contacted Hakimi agent in the last days, there’s still nothing agreed. 🇲🇦 #PSG #CFC @SkySport
Inter have also offered Ashley Young a new contract until June 2022. 🏴

However, according to Fabrizio Romano, Hakimi too has been eyed by the west Londoners who are in for a major transfer window this time around, their first under Tuchel since his hiring earlier this year.
Chelsea’s reported interest in Hakimi is bound to surprise many considering Tuchel has options at his disposal who have put out solid displays for the Blues on the defensive flanks.
Skipper Cesar Azpilicuetta has moved into the centre-back role for Chelsea as seen this past season which allowed the highly-promising Reece James to operate in the right wing-back role to many plaudits for his showings.
