Chelsea’s Callum Hudson-Odoi is once again attracting interest from Bayern Munich and the Bundesliga giants are willing to test the Blues’ resolve this summer by tabling an offer for their first-team youngster.
Journalist Constantin Eckner claims that Bayern are in line to reignite their long-standing interest in the England international and want to sign Hudson-Odoi to bolster their squad ahead of the next season.
Hudson-Odoi came close to leaving the Blues earlier with Bayern’s interest
The 20-year-old has turned out in 23 top-flight outings last season for Chelsea and took home the Champions League winners medal with Thomas Tuchel’s men emerging victors over Manchester City in the Porto showdown.
But Hudson-Odoi has been a major target for Bayern in the past and the German champions were nearly successful in their approach for the player who ended up staying put at Stamford Bridge beyond the summer of 2019.
Will Chelsea part ways with the highly-promising player?
It remains to be seen what offer Bayern Munich decides to table in front of Tuchel and Chelsea who are in for a major transfer window where the new boss will be expected to shake things up a bit.
With rumours already floating around over Hakim Ziyech’s long-term future amid interest from Italy, Tuchel will be keen to hold onto Hudson-Odoi who has a bright future ahead of him for both club and country.
