Chelsea has given a staggering end to their summer’s window after making two successful signings in the last day of Transfer window that they have been planning since fortnight. The team who recently signed Kovacic on season long loan, have signed a 23-year old talent Kepa from Atletic Bilbao for seven year. Kepa becomes the record holder of highest transfer fee paid for a goalkeeper in Premier League, which amounts to a whopping £71 million.
Now the question is, why would Chelsea pay such a huge amount for this player?
Kepa has made 50 La Liga appearances and has played more than 100 career league games. Kepa has a solid experience of playing big games. He was also in Spain’s squad for this year’s World Cup.
Kepa is known for his pace and agility, and is a great shot-stopper of the ball. He impresses everyone with his prodigious reflexes and is a confident lad while having ball under his boots. Kepa can instigate attacks with his passes out from the back.
Kepa upon completing his transfer said: ‘It’s a very important decision for me, for my career, and also for my personal life.’
And what were the reasons that attracted You?
‘So many things attracted me to the club, all the titles the club has won, the other players, the city, the English Premier League. It’s an accumulation of things, and I am very glad Chelsea has decided to trust me and to take me in as well.’
The Blues would be expecting to experience his charismatic skills and maybe win the trophy for them!!!!!!!
