Christian Pulisic is amongst a number of new entrants into the Chelsea starting eleven as the Blues take on table-toppers Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.
Billy Gilmour, Marcos Alonso and Reece James are also handed outings with the trio being benched for the recent midweek win over Real Madrid in the Champions League semi-final clash.
A new-look frontline once again for Chelsea
The Blues gaffer Thomas Tuchel has again decided to tinker around with his options up top on the pitch with Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech being included at the expense of Kai Havertz and Mason Mount.
Timo Werner retains his spot in the No.9 role as the German international would look forward to continuing his recent spell of encouraging form in front of the goal.
Changes in the wing-back roles, Thiago Silva drops out
Reece James takes Cesar Azpilicuetta’s spot in the right wing-back role with the latter moving to his usual central defender spot as Thiago Silva drops out of the matchday squad.
With Ben Chilwell also not included in the squad for the fixture, Marcos Alonso grabs the starting spot on the left side of the pitch.
