Saturday’s FA Cup semi-final showdown would witness two of Premier League’s biggest clubs face off against each other as an in-form Chelsea outfit play hosts to the league’s runaway leaders Manchester City.
The Blues get back to business quickly following their recent defeat to FC Porto in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League last-eight clash with the loss proving insignificant in the grand scheme of things as a semi-final berth was ensured for Chelsea on the basis of the aggregate scoreline.
Chelsea came out second best just marginally against their latest opponents with the game being sealed in Porto’s favour only in stoppage time through a wonder strike from Mehdi Taremi.
Tuchel, however, would be keen on seeing his players deliver a much-improved showing against Manchester City who are also due action in midweek as they face Borussia Dortmund in their European commitments.

TEAM NEWS
The Blues did not report any fresh injury concerns following their latest outing which came against FC Porto in the Champions League but did welcome back the likes of N’Golo Kante and Andres Christensen to the Stamford Bridge fold.
Christensen had missed the last week of on-field action but was a part of the 23-man travelling party to Seville earlier this week and could be in line to feature come Saturday in the FA Cup.
Timo Werner will also be in on the fray to grab a starting role following his recent spell on the Chelsea bench with Kai Havertz pipping his compatriot to the striking spot on the teamsheet.
