Chelsea’s midfielder, Danny Drinkwater is not interested to continue at the club after not getting any minutes under the coach, Frank Lampard.
The midfielder spent his previous campaigns as a loanee in Burnley and Aston Villa. He was determined to leave the Blues this summer but it didn’t materialize.
Drinkwater became a Chelsea player when he agreed to a £40 million transfer deal after his superb performance for Leicester City in the 2015-16 campaign. However, the English International could not show the same form he produced for Leicester City and slowly went done the pecking order.
As per the Fussball Transfers, Drinkwater is searching for an exit and Chelsea is willing to pay a percentage of his wages as well if he finds a new club this winter transfer.
It was reported that Schalke was keen for him to bring him in as a loanee but those rumours have died lately. He also got offers from Turkey, USA and Russia but he turned them down as he wanted to play in any of the World’s major leagues.
Even Besiktas was keen to land him last summer but Drinkwater totally rejected the offer as he didn’t want to play and settle in Turkey.
