Chelsea’s former defender, Frank Sinclair has tipped the Blues to win their upcoming Champions League group stage match against Ligue 1 side, Rennes. Chelsea thrashed an unknown Russian side, Krasnodar 4-0 and Chelsea coach, Lampard will be expecting his team to continue the fine form against Rennes too.
Sinclair also gave more predictions on the number of goals and whatnot on the Official Chelsea website and is pretty much confident in his predictions.
Sinclair knows a thing or two about defending as he has spent his career time a centre-back or right-back at Chelsea. He gave his prediction that the Blues will keep a fifth clean sheet in all competitions in this upcoming UCL match and that will make Lampard go through the group stage round without conceding a single goal.
The former defender has enough confidence in the attacking talents of the Blues especially the German striker, Timo Werner.has plenty of confidence in our attacking players too, particularly Timo Werner. Werner has found the goal in the previous two matches and he is being backed again to do the same against Rennes.
First goalscorer: Timo Werner
Time of the first goal: 16 minutes
Chelsea possession: 62 per cent
Final score: 3-0 to Chelsea
These are his predictions. Only time will say if these will be true or not.
