Chelsea’s youngster, Mason Mount claims that the new summer signing attacker, Hakim Ziyech ‘is a joy to play with’ after the Blues defeated Burnley 3-0 at Turf Moor on the weekend. Ziyech moved from Ajax to the west London club this summer at a £33.3 million deal. Mason had an impressive partnership together with Ziyech and hails the Moroccan on his display against Burnely.
With the goals of Ziyech, Kurt Zouma, and Timo Werner, Lampard’s side earned three points and yet again kept a clean sheet. The Moroccan playmaker missed the initial games of the season as he was suffering from a knee injury that he got in Chelsea’s pre-season friendly match against Brighton.
He has shown glimpses of his quality since he made his debut for the Blues in the previous month and Mount says that he is a big admirer of his qualities. Mount says that he is aware of what Ziyech can do with the ball as he is world-class.
‘We know what he can do on the ball and what he brings to the team. World-class player, obviously coming in and scoring the other night [against Krasnodar] and scoring on his Premier League debut. He’s a brilliant player,’ Mount told as per Metro news.
The former Ajax star has a tremendous vision to find spaces and is highly efficient in receiving, passing his crossing the ball. The Chelsea coach has also revealed that he has a fantastic attitude towards the game and his personality and work rate is too good for the team.
