Chelsea’s Hakim Ziyech spoke about his stellar performances lately after Burnley match

Chelsea’s new summer signing playmaker, Hakim Ziyech becomes the first player to score in the first two games for the Blues in all competitions. It was a feat that was there since August 2014 to Diego Costa’s name which Hakim Ziyech broke it yesterday as Chelsea defeated Burnley 3-0 in their away fixture of Premier League.

Hakim Ziyech has been in tremendous form lately and he showed that by opening the scoresheet of the match in the first half. He also gave an incredible assist to Chelsea’ german striker Timo Werner in the second half.

‘It has been a really good week for me and hopefully, we can continue,’ said Ziyech as per the Chelsea Official website.

‘Especially after the European game, coming here [to Burnley], I think we did a really good game. We started well and gave Burnley problems. They had one big chance at the beginning but after that, we controlled the game.’

Ziyech emphasized the players are still getting accustomed to the new faces and the atmosphere and it will take some more time to gel completely with one another. But he says that he is in perfect shape to hit the ground running for Chelsea.

‘Life at Chelsea is good, I am where I am supposed to be. I feel good and feel at home and everything is fine.’

The Chelsea coach was very excited as Hakim’s tremendous form continues. He was impressed by the confidence and personality that the Moroccan international has carried to the buildup in the Burnley match.

‘It is one of the most important things, that you play with confidence and don’t be scared of making mistakes,’ is how  Ziyech reacted to his manager comments.

Lampard was very elated indeed to see Ziyech getting involved in all the best moments of Chelsea during the game and this is a massive boost for him personally.
