Arsenal legend, Ian Wright previously held the opinion that Hakim Ziyech can thrive quite well after the attacker made his move to Chelsea this season. The deal of £36.6million was agreed by both parties that led him to his arrival at the Stamford Bridge.
The creative attacking midfielder, Ziyech starred in Ajax’s Dream Champions League run to semi-finals in 2018 and is tipped to become a fantastic addition to the Chelsea squad.
Wright agrees with the former Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal’s opinion about the former Ajax star. Van Gaal has described the midfielder as a special player of the Chelsea team.
“He has developed tremendously at Ajax. Not so much in creativity, but as a team player,” Van Gaal said as per NOS.
“The public has come to realise that he works very hard for
a creative player. And then he also scores goals and gives assists.
“That makes you a special player.”
He has also discussed that Tammy Abraham can get the most benefit from Ziyech’s presence in the field. Ziyech’s brief international cameo against Senegal showed how talented the player is and how immense he can be with the presence of Christian Pulisic and Kai Havertz.
