Three players from Chelsea have been included in the world’s most valuable players. These players are none other than Chelsea’s expensive summer signing, Kai Havertz, German striker Timo Werner and academy graduate, Mason Mount. All these three players have ranked in the top 20 of the list of valuable players.
The result is published by the International Centre for Sports Studies, CIES Football Observatory and reported in Chelsea’s Official Website. The criteria to nominate these players included their age, performance and contract length. It also included the nationality and the club they represent to get the name on the list.
Havertz was priced at a £123 million estimation price value and rounded to the top 10 list. The German winger signed for Chelsea in this summer transfer season and has even bagged a hattrick for the Blues this season.
His teammate, Werner who also arrived this summer from RB Leipzig has been valued at a £122 million estimation price. He has scored eight goals for the Blues and assisted six times still now. Mason Mount estimated at £99 million price value. The young midfielder has had a brilliant debut campaign for the club and is an integral part of Lampard team this season.
