16-year-old Chelsea Starlet Samuel Iling-Junior Signed for Juventus

Chelsea academy player, Samuel Iling Jr. joins Juventus FC. The 16-year-old teenager declined the offer to stay at Stamford Bridge and made a move to Turin.

He was spotted training with Juventus since July and now he is officially a Juventus player. The talented winger played for England Under-16 and Under-17 level and impressed with his performance.

The Blues insisted him of staying at Chelsea but the Englishman was too keen to join Ronaldo’s Juventus this summer. He was focussed to join the Italian Champions and was clear in his intentions.

He wrote a farewell message to bid goodbye to Chelsea on Instagram.

“Full of vast emotions. Being at Chelsea from such a young age has truly built me,” wrote the under-17 international of England.

“Not only as a player I am today but also as a person. It’s been a blessed journey and I’m deeply thankful for all those in the academy.

He thanked everyone including the groundsmen, education, kitchen, staff along with the players and coaches.

He will join the Juventus youth academy to continue his development. Signing off, he wished luck to Chelsea FC for the upcoming season.
